changes

Hayden is currently deciding if he wants to be a thumb sucker or stick with the pacies. Clint and I are both rooting for the thumb. I say that with mixed feelings. I know how wonderful it is for them to all ways have their thumb and not have to go find the pacie in the middle of the night. The down side is you can't take their thumb away when they get too old. We are dealing with Jace right now, trying to limit it to only in bed or the car seat. I have been marveling over how fast kids grow and change. Hayden has begun rolling on to his side, and wiggling around on the floor so much he turns in a circle. He has also gotten pretty good at holding his head up. Jace is using sentences, sometimes even with correct grammar. His imagination is really taking off. I think that Jace is going to take after my Dad. He keeps growing up, but not out. That boy has the smallest little bottom. If he didn't still wear diapers, his shorts would fall off of him. I don't know what we are going to do when he is potty trained. His legs are so skinny too. They look like little toothpicks sticking out of his shorts. Don't know if you can tell in the picture very well or not. It is all okay though, he is still such a cutie.

King of China

Clint went to china about 2 years ago and brought back this outfit for Jace. It was of course way too big for him then. I found it while getting some things out of the attice. Jace wanted to wear it and soon became the king of China. I am amazed at what great imaginations kids have at such a young age. Yesterday morning I kept a friend's kids, Anna and Mason. Anna is Jace's age and they are the best of buds. We call her his girlfriend. I walk into the living room where Jace had the remote control up to his face saying "smile!". Anna was across the room from him saying "cheese!". Jace was pretending to take pictures of her. I thought it was so funny. Jace is also way into trains right now. He got a starter set from his grandparents for Christmas and more parts from his other grandparents. Add on what we have gotten him and now there is an enormous thing taking up my whole computer room. He loves it though.
Hayden is 7 weeks old and growing like a weed. Don't know if you can tell from the picture but he is starting to regrow hair on the top of his head. I still can't get him to smile for the camera but I will keep working on that. He is also beginning to talk, well if you can call it that.
