Love and Respect
I just need to comment on the study our small group is doing. It is a video series that I am absolutely loving. I would recommend you all look into doing it at your church or attending it somewhere. I have learned so much from it and can't wait to see how it positively affects my marriage. Here is a link to the website if you would like to check it out. http://www.loveandrespect.com/

The wait is over
IT'S A GIRL!!!
The Lasiter house will soon be filled with pink, ribbon, and bows! We had our sonogram yesterday and everything looked great. Now comes the hard part, picking a name!
The picture above is a front view of her face and the picture below is of her profile.
She was very cooperative with the pictures. It took all of two seconds to find out it was a girl.

Hayden Turns Two!
Okay. So blogger is not letting me move my pictures so they will just have to stay in this order. Sorry!
Hayden turned two yesterday. I can not believe how fast it has gone. He has changed from a baby to a very expressive, animated young boy. He talks all the time and is very easily understood. Why he is still very small in stature, he is quite the fireball. Hayden is into everything, a typical now 2 year old boy. Some of his current favorites are Elmo, building with blocks, wanting everything his brother has, and saying "No" and "Cause Why".
We celebrated his birthday with family a week or so ago and then had a few people over for dinner to celebrate on his birthday. Here go the pictures.

Christmas Time
Well I thought I should include some photos of what we have been up to so far this holiday season. We went to a Christmas party where Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance. They boys had a blast. I might add that no one was scared of Santa this year!

Lastly we want to wish everyone a happy holiday season. May you all be safe in your travels. Enjoy your time off and have fun with your families.

Today the boys had their program at school. Hayden's class sang Jingle Bells and If Your Happy and You Know It. Hayden decided not to sing, but I did get a picture of the one motion he participated in. (even if it wasn't at the right time). At least he didn't cry through the whole thing! Jace's class sang Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Oh Come All Ye Faithful, and Joy to the World. The also did a play of the nativity scene. Jace was a shepherd. He had one line to memorize and did it perfectly! I apologize for the bad pictures. We were far back and the lighting was not great. But I had to include them for the grandparents anyway!

Life Lessons Learned
1. If you forget to put sugar in while making a cake, it will not turn out correctly.
2. If you put a Pyrex pan on a hot burner, it will explode. If this pan has a freshly baked sopapilla cheesecake in it, it will make a huge gooey, glass filled mess.
(Unfortunately these lessons were learned in a span of two days. I do not recommend trying them out for yourself. Just take my word on it.)

Kristin:
A heater (it is already a cold winter)
Mothers Morning Out (every mom needs a morning off)
The rare times Jace climbs into my lap to snuggle

There are so many other things I could add to list list, but it will do for now.
