I can't believe it has been a month already. Brynley is growing like a weed. She is starting to give us little grins, which I adore seeing. Her brothers continue to love on her every chance they get. Brynley is pretty easy going and just goes with the flow of our family, not that she had a choice. I am enjoying the fact that it is summer and we don't have set things on our schedule. I am sure it will be interesting come school time when we have to get into a schedule. Just a few pics for you all. I thought she looked adorable in her pillowcase dress. I am a little biased though!

Brother Love
I wasn't sure how the boys would handle another baby in the home. They have taken to her so well. Jace would hold her and be all over her if we let him. He absolutely adores her. He is such a great big brother.
Hayden seems to love her too. He likes to hold her every now and then. Other than that he likes to give me a play by play of what Brynley is doing. I frequently hear "She wake up." "She crying, I think she hungry." He doesn't seem to mind her being here at all. I am thankful for that.

2 weeks
I don't have much to update but wanted to put some new pics on for the grandparents! Brynley is 2 weeks old now. We had her appointment today and she is up to 9lbs 13 oz. Poor girl had to get her heel pricked again to give some blood. She didn't like that at all. Who can blame her though. So far she is a great baby. I am sure I am going to jinks myself by typing this. She has had her days and nights straight from the time we brought her home. She is already going between 5 and 8 hours between feeding at night. I am amazed at how rested I feel compared to last time. I truly am blessed. Her little miss is all dressed up to go to church Wed. night.

Brynley's arrival
Brynley Grace Lasiter arrived on Thursday, May 28 at 2:00 pm. She weighed 9 lbs 6 oz and was 21.5 in long. The c section went well and was definitely a different experience for us all. We went home on Sat. and have been recovering well at home. The boys have done great so far. They have been getting lots of attention from the grandparents that have been here. Thanks Nana and Pops, and Nana. Here are a few pics from the hospital.

Done
Well we are wrapping things up around our house. Getting ready for summer and Brynley's arrival. One thing now done is Jace's year of preschool. He had his graduation on Wednesday and was so excited about it (if you can't tell by the look on his face!)
I am done with my pregnancy, well almost. We will go in on Wed. night to begin the induction. This picture was taken about 3 weeks ago. Just imagine it a little bigger now and you will get the picture of how monstrous I look and feel!
Brynley's nursery is ready for her. I just have one wall above the crib to find something to put on it. I made the new bedding and Clint painted the changing table black to match. I love it.

Just thought I would finish up the blog with a cute picture of Hayden and Jace in the shirts Nana gave them. Do we have a future doctor and baseball player on our hands? Not according to Jace. As of now he wants to work at the airport gate. (directing planes, loading luggage, anything out by the plane.)

St. Louis
A couple weeks ago Clint had the week off from work. We used the week to get things done around the house mostly. We had to make some time for fun though and decided to head to St. Louis for a night. Our first stop was the afternoon at the zoo. It was perfect. The weather was great and not many people where there. After that we ate dinner and checked into our hotel. The next morning we went to tour Busch Stadium where the Cardinals play. They took us into some great VIP places and out on the field and into the dugout. It was great. I have to admit that Clint and I enjoyed it more than the boys. Following that we headed to St. Louis Mills mall for lunch and a little shopping. The boys got to play on their indoor playground. We finished up the trip with dinner and play time at Incredible Pizza. It is a great place to take kids and I would highly recommend trying one out if you can. It is like a chuck e cheese on steroids. Here are a few pics from our adventure.

Bee Farm
This past week Jace's class got to enjoy a trip to a local Bee Farm. While it was interesting to learn about the bees and honey, they had so much more for the kids. As you can see from the pictures below, it was cold and wet. The kids had a blast anyway. Jace loves any excuse to wear his rain boots!
